We are proud to announce that our museum co-founder, COL (Ret.) Carmelia Scott-Skillern, will serve as the Guest Speaker for the 2026 United States Army Officer Candidate School (OCS) Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony.
The ceremony will take place on March 27, 2026, at Fort Benning, GA.
COL (Ret.) Scott-Skillern currently serves as the President of the United States Army OCS Alumni Association. She is a 2017 Hall of Fame Inductee, and her service is honored in the OCS Hall of Honor at the National Infantry Museum. As Guest Speaker, she will welcome 52 new inductees, celebrating their outstanding service and leadership.
Among this year’s distinguished class is the esteemed LTC Charity Adams Earley (posthumous), the pioneering Commander of the 6888th Central Postal Directory Battalion during WWII.
This prestigious event highlights the deep connection between military heritage and the mission of cultural preservation she champions alongside her husband and museum co-founder, Elliot G. Skillern Sr. Please join us in congratulating her on this distinguished honor.
